Federal Government Experts, LLC (FGE), specializes in assisting companies as they address the unique accounting, pricing, proposal preparation, and contract administration and compliance requirements associated with Federal Government contracts.
Our Government Contracts Practice team consists of experienced professionals who provide a comprehensive portfolio of services to federal government contractors. FGE's practice is uniquely equipped to help entities navigate through the various opportunities and issues that may arise in any stage of the government contracting process. Our team is comprised of contracting professionals who have been responsible for the successful award of over $100B worth of requirements.
Federal Government Experts, LLC (FGE) - Acquisition Prowess -
FGE is comprised of highly qualified experts (HQEs) in Federal acquisition. On average, each HQE possesses over 15 years of Federal contracting and acquisition expertise that covers ‘cradle-to-grave’ acquisition support services as shown in Figure 1.

To date, our team supports both Federal civilian agencies as well as the Department of Defense (DoD) in every facet of the acquisition process, to include: Acquisition Planning (pursuant to FAR Part 7.001) – our team aids and advises each client in the development of acquisition plans and strategies by advising the client and preparing all documents to support one of the 16 procurement instruments available to properly acquire goods and services in a streamlined manner while maintaining procurement integrity and prudent use of agency resources.
Market Research (per FAR Part 10.001) – utilizing e-business systems such as (but not limited to) Federal Business Opportunity (FBO) Forum, Federal Procurement Data System-Next Generation (FPDS-NG), PRIMS, SharePoint, PD2, SPS, FedSelect – our team provides our clients accurate, timely, and effective market research to streamline the acquisition process by providing an accurate depiction of market conditions to ensure low risk of unsuccessful performance due to maximum competition.
FGE supports the DoD in six (6) non-co-located procurement activities that directly impact the Tri-Care regional support services and global medical informational technology support services. This multiple award, multiyear Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) vehicle is an interagency agreement that supports the DoD both within the Continental United States (CONUS), as well as Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS). Since inception, our team has provided acquisition and contracting support services on over 3,300 actions per annum totaling nearly $3.4B of annual spend.
Our firm supports all types of clients both civilian and defense. This practical experience allows us to provide valuable insight and practical advice to our clients, helping them to successfully, and profitably, operate in this complex and unique marketplace.
FGE's Government Contracts professionals provide assistance to clients, ranging from large agencies with non-co located (geographically dispersed employees) to small business offices who are charged with developing and maintaining policy to ensure adequate requirements are set aside for SB participation.
This assistance is critical to ensure clients understand, prioritize, and manage the complex regulations that govern conducting business with the Federal Government.
